Content for Custom Template not Displaying

No content displays when my custom template is selected. I have carefully followed the instructions for duplicating a template and placing it in my theme folder. I can select it from the Obit Display Type but nothing displays when I click the individual’s image. I have not yet modified the duplicated template. I also have the “loops” folder located here.

A message displays that:  Template Cannot Be Found

/public_html/wp-content/themes/divi-child-1/wp-funeral-press/obit-custom.php

Can you confirm that the template is in that exact location, please navigate to your theme folder and check

Yes, I have done that multiple times as well as changed to different permissions, refreshed permalinks, created a “subfolder” templates within the theme funeral press folder and more. Below is a link to a PDF that may be helpful showing that just having the wp-funeral-press active within my child theme folder causes the obits not to display even using one of the installed PHPs. Thanks for helping. I am likely missing something simple but critical.

Could you please submit a ticket with login information and FTP so we can check this out?

Fixed via a ticket, issue was a php error in the custom template.

Since the code is including this template any php errors will crash the templating system.
